I would like to sincerely thank a handful of people...
My loving husband, Micah, who has always been my rock. You have absolutely risen to the occasion during this very stressful period in my life. I would not be here without you.
My family. You all mean the world to me!
My co-workers who stuck with me during my dietary needs evolution. It has been a journey, and you guys are awesome!
And certainly my Dietitian, Kelli with the HyVee Grocery Store Chain. That level of commitment to individuals with any and all dietary needs is amazing and tremendously appreciated.
Thank you all very much! You have made a lasting impact on my life!
Sincerely,
Lindsey
Lindsey, This is awesome! Wow, you have certainly done a lot of homework on this subject and you present it so well with the recipes, hints, pics, etc….You go girl:)
What I have learned is that a food needs to have a fructose balanced or outweighed by a glucose. Like bananas, they have far more glucose in them than fructose so they have always been safe for me, even on an emptying stomach. I learned this from this website: http://www.foodintolerances.org/fructose-food-table.aspx
The chart has been really helpful. I just wish it was more inclusive. It also has other food charts on the site.
