Spreading Hope for Anyone Affected by Fructose Malabsorption

Fructose Malabsorption – What is it?

I am one of many people who live with this digestive disorder every day, and it is my personal goal to help people achieve a state of peace with this lifestyle.  But I am no medical professional.

In short, Fructose Malabsorption is when an individual loses the ability to digest fructose efficiently.  So instead, the fructose molecules float around in the small intestine… and ferment (“stomach beer” if you will).  That gas is what causes the bulk of the symptoms, and the only way around them is to limit the amount of fructose consumed.

  1. Isabelle says:

If your mission is to give hope: you’ve achieved it! You just gave me hope! I’m celiac, lactose intolerant, corn intolerant and now…..drum roll please….I don’t handle fructose well either! So you might easily understand why I was completely discouraged. After consulting your site, I finally feel optimistic about eating again.
    Thanks so much!
